Can you get Lumineers if you have a cavity on your front tooth?
Jennie N.- Carson City, NV
Jennie,
You’ll need to get your cavities taken care of, but after that you can have veneers placed directly on top of the fillings. I don’t know if you’re mind is settled on Lumineers. I want you to be aware that they are just a brand of porcelain veneers and not unique onto themselves. In fact, many cosmetic dentists aren’t pleased with their quality.
However, if you are set on getting Lumineers, just be sure you go to an expert cosmetic dentist, like someone who is AACD accredited. Then you can be sure you’ll get a great smile no matter what brand you use.
