Dentures

ImageDentures are a removable replacement for teeth. They are made out of an acrylic resin and in some cases can incorporate porcelain or metal for additional support. Complete dentures and partial dentures are the two types of removable options. Our dentures are finely crafted and custom-fitted for our patients to ensure quality.

ImageDuring your consultation with Dr. Burba we will determine the type of appliance that is right for you. After a complete exam and x-rays are performed, impressions of your mouth are taken. These impressions give us the measurements needed for a proper fitting appliance. Dr. Burba will work closely with you to select the appropriate shape, size, and color teeth to be crafted into your denture. A try-in denture is often prepared to fine tune color, shape and fit. After your try-in appointment, the appliance will be sent to the lab for fabrication.  Once fabricated and placed, we will instruct you on proper care to maintain your denture.

Partial Dentures:

ImagePartial dentures are designed to correct gaps when only some of your teeth are missing. A partial denture is a removable appliance that may have metal attachments to anchor the denture to your natural teeth.  It is important to maintain tooth alignment and keep your remaining teeth from shifting to prevent further dental problems. A partial denture can assist in preventing the loss of more teeth due to decay or gum disease. In some cases you may be a candidate for a dental bridge or implant to replace missing teeth instead of a removable appliance.
