What Is a TMJ Specialist?
There is no recognized specialty in TMJ, so it isn’t accurate to call anyone a TMJ Specialist. So, while Dr. Burba has had extensive training in treating TMJ disorder, he isn’t actually a TMJ specialist, because there isn’t such a thing.
Dr. Stanley Burba, in particular, has devoted much time into obtaining extra post-graduate training in treating this disorder. He has studied at both the Dawson Academy in Florida and the Spear Institute in Seattle.
