Throughout the entire month of October, Salem celebrates! We have the ultimate Halloween experience and it gives us goosebumps just thinking about it. Are you ready to surrender to the spell of Salem?
Trick or Treating hours in Salem will be from 5-8 pm on October 31 this year, with peak times falling between 6 and 7 pm. Public safety officials have offered up the following tips for safe trick or treating this Halloween season:
-Only go to houses where you or your friends know the residents.
-Don’t knock on doors where there is a sign saying ‘NO callers’ or there are no outside lights on.
-Stay in areas that are lit with streetlights and take a flashlight with you just in case.
-Stay with your friends. Don’t split into smaller groups unless an adult goes with you.
-Don’t talk to strangers on the street.
-Do not enter anybody’s home. Always wait on the doorstep.
-Make yourself visible.
