Ghost and Legends Trolley

The Great Pumpkin Walk

Next, the Salem Witch Museum is celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Wizard of Oz through pumpkin carving and displays.
On October 17, world-renowned 3D street artist Sean Fitzpatrick of Fitzysnowman Studios will be participating in the Great Salem Pumpkin Walk. This entails pushing the boundaries of experiential art as he carves and crafts three, approximately 150 lb. pumpkins onsite at the Salem Witch Museum!
The carving is expected to take about 6 to 8 hours and will be on display with a number of other pumpkins. This is the perfect family-friendly event that brings entertainment and fun to downtown Salem.
Additionally, local artist, Tish Smith, will supplement Sean’s work with beautiful hand-painted pumpkins featuring the beloved characters of the Wizard of Oz.
Haunted Dinner Theatre Presents: Clue- Live!

Witch City 5K

This next event is great for the runner in your family, and since its themed, you might even get some of your non-runner friends and family to join you as you run through the historic streets of Salem.
Get your best running costume ready! This 5K is a great way to begin your month of Halloween fun in Salem. Let the kids join the Halloween costume fun with the Spooktacular Kids Broom Dash. They’ll have post-race awards, a costume contest, music, photos, refreshments, and more.

Salem Haunted Magic Show Presents HYSTERIA: Ghost Stories!

Fianlly, if you’re looking for something scary to do– the haunted magic show is it. Back for their eighth year, the Salem Haunted Magic Show presents HYSTERIA: Ghost Stories!
This year, the show focuses on a collection of carefully chosen ghost stories from each New England state including, of course, our very own city!
Each story will take you on a trip into the bizarre & unusual. You’ll witness magical illusions, incredible mind reading and hauntingly creepy experiences that make the show immersive, participatory and appropriate for audiences of all ages over 7. This year, they have even crafted a few additional surprises to really make this show memorable when you leave.
